The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death after finding a dead body when they were checking on a report of a possible robbery.
Deputies found the body at about noon today at a Whitewater home.
“Investigators are putting everything together to try to determine if it is suicide or homicide,” said Mesa County sheriff’s spokeswoman Heather Benjamin.
No other details were released.
