CARR, Colo.—A person cleaning a portable toilet near Carr discovered a male fetus when a vacuum system used to clean it shut down.
The discovery Wednesday of the fetus, believed to be in the early part of the third trimester, happened at one of two portable toilets located at a sand and gravel business outside the town. Carr is about 8 miles south of the Wyoming border.
Weld County sheriff’s officials did not know how long the body was there but said the toilet had not been cleaned in two weeks.
An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
