DES MOINES, Iowa—The Powerball jackpot was expected to grow to an estimated $33 million Saturday since no one matched all six numbers in the midweek drawing.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were 7, 18, 21, 28 and 49. The Powerball was 1 and the multiplier was 5.
Two Power Play tickets sold in Missouri and Oklahoma matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million.
The top prize in Colorado was $50,000 for one Power Play ticket that matched the Powerball, plus four of the other numbers.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
The game is now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
