Denver police are investigating the stabbing death of a man in the Columbine Plaza Apartments near the University of Denver on Thursday afternoon.
When police arrived at the scene at 2535 East Asbury Ave. at 4:45 p.m., they found a man dead inside an apartment, , said Detective John White.
A woman in the apartment was taken to Denver Health Medical Center for bruises and scrapes and was being questioned, White said. She is considered a suspect.
No charges have been filed; police did not release the names of the man or the woman.
“At this point, we’re not even speculating on the relationship between the man and woman,” White said.
