DENVER—Colorado’s new flag stamp is now on sale as part of a new national series.

Colorado is among the first eight states to get a flag stamp, an occasion marked by a ceremony Saturday at the State Capitol.

The U.S. Postal Service plans to issue a total of 60 flag stamps in alphabetical order—one for each state, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories as well as the stars and stripes.

Colorado’s stamp shows the state’s flag along with snowy mountains and evergreen trees.

States from Alabama through Delaware are also getting their own stamp along with American Samoa and the stars and stripes. They’re being sold in a roll of 50 stamps, with five stamps for each flag. Each roll costs $21.
