GRANBY — More than 70 children and 15 staffers at a YMCA camp have fallen ill with flu-like symptoms, forcing officials to end the camp early and cancel another session to disinfect the campground on the western edge of Rocky Mountain National Park.
YMCA spokeswoman Lori Van Horn says the children were being sent home from Camp Chief Ouray on Wednesday, a day after campers and staff began showing symptoms of the norovirus.
Van Horn says camp should be ready for the camp session that begins June 29.
