COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A 16-year-old Colorado Springs boy is listed in serious but stable condition after being stabbed during some type of arranged fight.
Police say the victim was stabbed five times in the torso and neck with an unknown object just after midnight Thursday near Skyview Middle School.
Sgt. Creighton Brandt says the victim knew about the fight and planned to fight the suspect, but the police report says authorities don’t believe the victim and suspect knew each other.
Police say several teens also gathered to watch the fight.
The suspect fled the scene after the stabbing.
