Apartment and multifamily vacancies outside the Denver metro area rose to 6.1 percent in March from 5.7 percent in September but still remain below March 2007’s 7.5 percent rate, according to a report Thursday from the Colorado Division of Housing.
Vacancy rates were below 5 percent in many of the mountain resort areas and above 9 percent in Colorado Springs.
