ASPEN — The Roaring Fork Valley is planning a party Saturday to celebrate completion of the last 5 1/4 mile section of the Rio Grande trail linking Aspen and Glenwood Springs.
“The Roaring Fork Valley now has 44 miles of continuous multi-use trail, completely protected from vehicular traffic,” according to the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority. The last leg connects Carbondale and the Thunder River Marketplace and was completed ahead of schedule.
