A judge has decided that the trial of a Boulder County man accused in the death of his infant son will be held in Jefferson County.
Trial for Alex Midyette had been set to begin Oct. 6 in Boulder, but his lawyers contended that the trial should be moved because pretrial media coverage had tainted the local jury pool.
In an order released Friday, Boulder District Judge Lael Montgomery listed the new venue.
Midyette is accused of child abuse in the death of his 10-week-old son, Jason, in 2006.
