A man died of stab wounds he suffered Saturday night in Aurora.
Police responded to an apartment complex in the 11600 block of East 16th Avenue around 9:30 p.m. and found the victim in a third-story apartment suffering from at least one stab wound, according to Aurora police spokesman Detective Robert Friel.
The victim was transported to University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora where he died at about midnight.
The identity of the victim won’t be released until the coroner’s examination is complete.
“We have some solid leads in the case and are confident about solving the investigation,” Friel said.
