Colorado College hired Elizabeth Campbell as its women’s basketball coach, CC athletic director Ken Ralph announced Monday.
Campbell was an assistant coach the past five seasons at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, like CC a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
“Her experience, energy and passion for basketball, combined with her knowledge of the SCAC, make her the perfect choice to lead the program,” Ralph said. “The Tiger basketball program is in very good hands for many years to come.”
Campbell helped guide Oglethorpe to a 27-7 record last season and reach the Division III national semi- finals.
Campbell replaces Kelly Mahlum, who resigned as the Tigers’ coach in March.
