A fire destroyed four apartment units in Highlands Ranch this afternoon.
The fire at the Palomino Park apartment complex, 6098 Blue Ridge Drive, started at about 2:20 p.m. One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.
The Red Cross said it was taking care of the estimated 21 residents displaced by the fire. The building has eight units.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
