A rollover accident killed a man early Sunday in Weld County.
State troopers said the man drove his 1985 Chrysler New Yorker off the right shoulder of Weld County Road 28 near Platteville. He over-corrected and skidded off the left side of the troad, rolling the car once, until it landed back on its wheels. The accident was discovered at 5:15 a.m.
He was wearing a seatbelt. The man was not identified as police notified his next of kin.
Investigators think alcohol and speed played roles in the accident, but the crash remains under investigation.
