UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENVER COLLEGE OF NURSING: Named Karen H. Sousa associate dean for research and extramural affairs in the Informatics, Health Systems and Leadership division.

U.S. FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY: Appointed Suzanne Mencer, a Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck policy director, to the National Advisory Council.

COLORADO JUDICIAL INSTITUTE: Elected new board members and officers. The following members will serve three-year terms: Jeri Barajas, Joe Blake, Lynn Karowsky, Marcia Krieger, Meghan Martinez, Barbara Thompson and Yvonne Zuber. The new board officers are: board chair Robert N. Miller, vice chair Elinor M. Greenberg, vice chair Sheila M. Gutterman, vice chair James E. Scarboro, vice chair Peter D. Willis, treasurer Anne Garcia, secretary Rod Yokooji.

CROSSROADS THEATRE: Named Hektor Munoz director of New Works. Munoz will handle day-to-day operations and work closely with new resident and playwright Jonson Y. Kuhno to develop and create new works to showcase new and established artists.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES: Certified Larisa LaBrant, executive director of the Rocky Mountain Masonry Institute, with the Certified Association Executive credential, the highest professional credential in the association industry.

STANTEC: Named Tracy Anderson managing principal for its 80 – person Denver office.

TRUST COMPANY OF AMERICA: Announced the appointment of Albert Leary III as vice president of sales for the company’s Institutional Advisor Services division.

AMERICAN ANGUS ASSOCIATION:Named Bill Bowman chief operating officer.

COLORADO LOTTERY: Named Jack A. Boehm director.
