An undercover investigation has led to the arrest of an Eagle County man on charges that he forged identity documents.
Antonio Valencia-Duron, 34, of Gypsum has been charged with making and selling fake Social Security cards and nonresident work visas, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Investigators found numerous fake documents, which Valencia-Duron told them he had been making for about a year. Officials say he told them he was making 10 documents a week and selling them for $50 each.
Valencia-Duron is free on a $2,500 bond.
