Denver Post Olympics writer John Meyer received the Jesse Abramson Award for excellence in track and field coverage this week at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. Meyer was honored for his work in 2007.
The award has been presented annually by the Track and Field Writers of America since 1980.
