Lakewood police are investigating vandalism at Molholm Elementary School on Tuesday night.
The alarm at the school went off at 11:19 p.m., Jeffco Public Schools said in a news release.
Arriving officers found “broken windows and kitchen plates and frozen burritos scattered all over the cafeteria countertops, floors and hallways,” the release said.
District officials were still trying to determine whether property was stolen.
The culprits appear to have been injured when breaking windows in the cafeteria, office and library.
