The 10 a.m.-5 p.m. family event features archery and air rifle ranges, a fish pond, fly-tying and a variety of participation events. Sponsors include the National Wild Turkey Federation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Colorado Bowhunters Association, Denver Fire Department, Cherry Creek Anglers Trout Unlimited, Colorado Bassmasters, Club 5280, Colorado Wildlife Federation and 4-H Shooting Sports.

Colorado’s over-the-counter big-game licenses will go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday at license agents, Division of Wildlife offices and by Internet or telephone, 800-244-5613.
These licenses primarily for bull elk in unlimited hunt areas, but the sale also includes limited-number bear tags. Bear license availability will be updated every 15 minutes.
