Denver police today identified victims in two unrelated homicides last weekend.

Leroy Townsend, 33, was found dead Saturday in his home at 1101 S. Cherry St. of “unknown trauma,” police said.

Police arrested Quentin Williams, 25, of Denver. Witnesses said they heard the two men arguing late Friday and again early Saturday.

In an unrelated case, David Archuleta, 47, was found early Sunday shot to death laying on the pavement at 25th Avenue and Decatur Street after residents called police after hearing multiple rounds of gunfire north of Invesco Field.

Witnesses told police they had earlier seen Archuleta on the street arguing with a group of men at the same corner.
