Skies are partly cloudy this morning, with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Morning cyclists should have an easy ride, with winds blowing gently from the southeast.
The afternoon high will reach 86 degrees, before dropping to a low of around 60 tonight. The Weather Service forecasts a 10 percent chance of rain before 10 p.m.
Winds will hold steady through the rest of the week. The Weather Service expects sunny, considerably warmer days with anticipated highs of 95 on Thursday and 96 on Friday and only a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
A slightly cooler weekend is shaping up, with a high of 91 on Saturday.
