National Jewish Health, the University of Colorado Hospital and Craig Hospital will be featured in “America’s Best Hospitals,” an annual survey in U.S. News & World Report. The ranking comes out in the July 21-28 issue, available at newsstands Monday.
Denver’s National Jewish was named the nation’s best respiratory hospital for the 11th year in a row.
The University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora made the top 25 in six medical specialties.
The hospital ranked 11th in respiratory disorders, 15th in kidney disease, 20th in endocrinology/diabetes, 20th in rehabilitation medicine, 24th in gynecology and 25th in rheumatology.
For the 19th consecutive year, Craig Hospital, based in Englewood, has been in the top 10 of America’s rehabilitation hospitals.
This year, Craig checked in at No. 6, the same as last year.
