The announcement this week that Barack Obama will accept the Democratic nomination for president at Invesco Field at Mile High on Aug. 28 means that perhaps 60,000 more people will see the event live than would fit in the Pepsi Center, site of the first three nights of the Democratic National Convention.
Details are few, but plans are for “a special block of ‘Community Credentials’ that will ensure thousands of residents from Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West can participate…,” organizers said today.
