A woman accused of punching a flight attendant has pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and interfering with a flight attendant.
Christina Elizabeth Szele of Woodside, N.Y., entered her plea in Denver federal court Friday through her attorney.
The FBI says 35-year-old Szele hit an attendant on a JetBlue flight from New York to San Francisco on June 17. The pilot diverted the flight to Denver, where she was arrested. Her trial has been tentatively set for Sept. 8.
