The 14th annual Chimney Rock Native American Cultural Gathering concludes today, featuring traditional Jicarilla Apache dancers, four Hopi dance companies, and singers and dancers from Acoma Pueblo and Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Continental Divide Trail Alliance at TrailFest 2008. It offers 15 ways to “Get on the Divide,” including guided mountain bike rides, a fish hatchery tour, goat and llama treks, an easy 2-mile hike, and a climb up Colorado’s highest mountain. The alliance will host a “base camp” with gear demonstrations, outdoor clinics, breakfast, music, dinner and a fundraising auction. Free.
