BOULDER, Colo.—Firefighters are trying to put out a blaze at an apartment complex near the University of Colorado that has displaced dozens of residents.

Boulder Fire spokeswoman Sarah Huntley says the fire at the Hill House Apartments started at about 5:15 p.m. Saturday. More than 50 firefighters were on scene.

None of the residents were injured but Huntley says one firefighter was treated for a minor shoulder injury and heat exhaustion.

Huntley says the fire may have started outside of the apartment on a patio or balcony but that information has not been confirmed.

The Red Cross is offering assistance to displaced residents.
