GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.—Police say two people riding a motorcycle were killed after they hit a street curb and were thrown into nearby trees.
Greenwood Police Lt. Ed Rossmeisl says the man driving the motorcycle and his female passenger died Friday night at the accident scene. Their names were not immediately released.
Rossmeisl says the man was speeding and lost control of the motorcycle, hitting a curb. He says the pair were then thrown, striking trees on a median.
