WELD COUNTY — The Weld County Sheriff’s Office launched a manhunt Saturday night after a fatal shooting.
Officials reported that a van pulled into a yard just before 7 p.m., about one-half mile from U.S. 85 on County Road 32 east of Platteville. A man got out of the van and shot another man to death with a rifle.
The victim was declared dead at the scene. His name was not released.
