The Weld County Sheriff’s Office launched a manhunt tonight after a fatal shooting.
The sheriff’s office reported that a man pulled into a yard sometime before 7 p.m., about one-half mile from U.S. Highway 85 on County Road 32. The man then got out of a van and shot another man to death with a .22-caliber rifle.
The victim’s name has not been released. He was declared dead at the scene.
The van is described as a green Ford Aerostar, Colorado license plate 458-ORS.
