GREENWOOD VILLAGE — A man and woman were killed when the speeding motorcycle they were on slammed into a curb and threw them into trees Friday, police say.
The accident happened at 11 p.m. near Del Frisco’s steak house in the 6000 block of South Willow Drive, said Lt. Ed Rossmeisl of the Greenwood Village Police Department.
The male driver was speeding north on South Willow Drive when he lost control of the motorcycle on a curve, hit a curb and was thrown along with his female passenger into trees in the median, Rossmeisl said.
The victims’ identities were being withheld until kin were notified.
