A federal employment discrimination lawsuit on behalf of 16 Latino Denver police officers will be filed today, lawyers for the officers said Tuesday.
The class-action lawsuit will allege a wide range of discrimination at the Police Department, said lawyers Daniel Genet and Leonard Martinez.
In connection with the filing of the lawsuit, some of the officers will hold a news conference today at which they plan to unveil an audiotape of a 1979 training class of Denver police recruits.
