Heading into NASCAR’s final off-week of the season, most drivers are using the weekend to rest. Not Carl Edwards. The fourth-place driver in the Sprint Cup standings will line up Saturday in the Nationwide race in Madison, Ill. Edwards, the defending Nationwide champion, is fourth in the series standings with 2,711 points. He trails leader Clint Bowyer (2,965), who also will be active Saturday. Kyle Busch, the Sprint Cup leader and No. 5 in the Nationwide, will not race this weekend.
