ELIZABETH — About a million gallons of water drained out of the city of Elizabeth’s water tank and pipe system Tuesday night after a water-line break that left the town of 1,500 without water for about four hours, a city official said Wednesday.
Officials said the break was reported at 11 p.m. adjacent to a business complex called Running Creek Plaza.
