Former contestants of Bravo’s “Top Chef” stopped by the Cherry Creek farmer’s market Saturday to show off their cooking skills and serve up tastings to some lucky locals.

Season four’s Antonia Lofaso and Ryan Scott worked their magic for the crowd in the back of an 18-wheeler semi truck equipped with a fully-functioning kitchen and seats for about 40 guests.

“Denver has ridiculously, great fans,” said Scott, who packed his knives in episode six. “It’s just nice to get out and meet new people.”

The event is part of a 20-city tour that has former “Top Chef” contestants from all four seasons traveling around the country to promote the show – and give fans a chance to learn a thing or two from their favorite reality stars.

“Everyone has been so great at the farmer’s market,” said Scott, who picked up some basil and corn for his demo. “Some woman even brought up salsa for me to use!”

People flowed out of the semi truck all smiles after the last demonstration Saturday afternoon.

“The demo was great. These guys know a ton,” said David Garcia, 35, of Denver. “As a budding caterer, I have a lot to learn.”

“There was a good tip about using potato water versus milk for mashed potatoes,” he added.

Lofaso, who made it to the final four, said the demonstrations are a great opportunity to interact with the fans.

“They feel like they have been through the process with us,” said Lofaso. “They felt my pain when I left the show.”

Erin Riska, 30, and Jon Delapp, 35, of Denver, couldn’t agree more.

“We are definitely fans of the show,” Riska said.

While signing autographs, Delapp professed his support: “We voted for you.”

They even hit her up for some advice on smoking short ribs.

“You’re gonna need a brazer,” she told the eager couple. “Take down my e-mail address and let me know how it works out.”

“Chef-testants” Lofaso and Scott, who both have their own restaurants now in California, cooked up lamb and duck dishes for each of the three demonstrations, which were filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“They made simple stuff, but it tasted incredible,” Delapp said.
