Attackman Matt Brown scored six goals Saturday night to help the Denver Outlaws rebound from the lowest scoring output in their three-year history to a 15-8 Major League Lacrosse victory at San Francisco.
The Western Conference-leading Outlaws (7-3), held to six goals in a loss at Los Angeles on July 12, were also led by Brian Langtry’s three goals, plus two assists by Ryan Powell, two goals and three assists by Jeff Sonke in his return from injury, and 17 saves by all-star goalkeeper Jesse Schwartzman.

Barker’s RBI caps Sky Sox rally.
Sean Barker hit a two-out RBI single in the eighth inning, breaking a tie and lifting the visiting Colorado Springs Sky Sox to a 6-5 win over Portland on Sunday.
The first six batters in the Colorado Springs lineup had at least two hits as the Sky Sox won for just the second time in their last 10 games.
