A lineup headed by Gov. Bill Ritter and former Broncos star Karl Mecklenburg is scheduled to highlight the inaugural Arkansas River Double-Haul, a celebrity fly-fishing weekend Sept. 12-13 in Salida.
They will join Ernie Bjorkman, Eldridge Hardie, Dale Darline and a variety of angling notables for an event that will highlight fishing opportunity on the Arkansas River. The format matches paying participants with celebrities as a fundraiser for the charities of the Rotary Clubs of Salida and Buena Vista.
