The Colorado Lottery posted record sales Thursday of $505.8 million for the fiscal year ended June 30.

The strongest sales in the lottery’s 25-year history were led by scratch tickets with sales of $336 million. The jackpot games also showed impressive gains this year. Powerball sales rose by $8 million to $109.6 million. Lotto posted sales of $41.1 million, the game’s best year since 2003. Cash 5 ended the year with a record $19.1 million in sales.

The lottery generated $122.3 million in proceeds, which broke down to: $53.1 million for Great Outdoors Colorado; $48.9 million for the Conservation Trust Fund; $12.2 million for Colorado State Parks; and $8.1 million for Public School Capital Construction Assistance Fund.
