WELD COUNTY — A 46-year-old Longmont man has been identified as the victim of a fatal car crash in rural Weld County, authorities say.
Larry Brunner was pronounced dead at the scene late Friday afternoon after he ran a stop sign on Weld County Road 38 and was struck by a pickup truck, said Gilbert Mares, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
The driver of the Dodge pickup truck was David Reed, 69, of Johnstown, Mares said. Reed had minor to moderate injuries.
