GOLDEN — Two brothers were convicted Monday of charges related to the April 2007 murder of Dyan Newman, 20, of south Jefferson County.

Adam Zamora, 22, was found guilty of first-degree murder, reckless manslaughter, two counts of aggravated robbery and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

Aaron Zamora, 20, was found guilty of reckless manslaughter and was acquitted of four other counts.

They will be sentenced Oct. 31.

Newman’s body was found in the garage of the a home at 6412 W. Morraine Place. Police said the Zamoras plotted to rob Newman in a drug deal.
