A gravel truck lost its load – 50,000 pounds — on the eastbound lanes of I-70 near Wadsworth Boulevard and traffic on the highway is backed up for miles.
The accident happened at about 8:30 a.m. and five lanes of eastbound traffic on I-70 has been funneled down to two lanes, according to the Arvada Police Department. All lanes were reopened about 11:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
