LITTLETON, Colo.—Two people died in a traffic accident after a car going the wrong way struck another car head-on before going airborne and hitting another vehicle.
Littleton police say the 36-year-old male driver of the Mercedes Benz going the wrong way is dead, as well as the 27-year-old woman driving the vehicle that was hit after the Mercedes went airborne.
Their names were not released.
A third woman whose car was first hit by the Mercedes Saturday morning survived but suffered serious injuries.
Police are investigating how the accident happened and why the car was traveling in the wrong direction.
