ARAPAHOE COUNTY — Authorities responded early Saturday to a report of a sport utility vehicle engulfed in flames and found a man dead inside.
About 3:30 a.m., deputies with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office arrived at 6600 S. Havana St. to find a Ford Explorer on fire.
South Metro Fire Protection District also responded and extinguished the fire, revealing the body.
Authorities believe the vehicle was northbound on South Havana Street when it struck a retaining wall and rolled several times before catching fire. The victim’s identity has not been released.
