Catcher Wilin Rosario is making the most out of his second season playing for Casper of the Pioneer League.
The 19-year-old Dominican is a reminder of Ryan Shealy and his 19 home runs while playing for the Casper Rockies in 2002. Rosario has eight home runs in 39 games and is hitting .344. He also has 10 doubles and two triples while driving in 27 runs.
Last year, Rosario was typical of a young Casper team that struggled. He hit .209 with just two home runs while playing in 34 games.
