Wyoming’s first practice in full pads is Friday at 3:15 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie. The Cowboys will have two scrimmages, Aug. 13 and Aug. 20, before opening the season Aug. 30 against coach Frank Solich’s Ohio Bobcats in Laramie.
Wyoming started 4-1 a year ago but finished with a 5-7 record, including a 2-6 mark in the Mountain West Conference. Glenn, who coached Northern Colorado to two NCAA championships and Montana to another national title, is 26-33 with the Cowboys.
Wyoming’s MWC opener is Sept. 6 against Air Force in Laramie.
