Colorado consumers looking to purchase insurance can check whether the company they are doing business with has a history of complaints.
Consumers can check the number of complaints filed last year against insurance companies in a variety of coverage types by going to the Division of Insurance’s website, www.dora.state.co.us, then clicking on “Division of Insurance,” then “Information for Consumers,” then “Complaint Ratio Reports.”
