Those carrots are “planted” at the entrance to The Margarita at Pine Creek, a Mexican restaurant in Colorado Springs. The owner installed the giant carrot sculptures to help draw attention to her restaurant. It only seems appropriate that the carrots point the way to a farmers market which takes place at this location on Saturdays. We are currently enjoying tomatoes purchased from that market!
