Tent State University organizers and city officials agreed on a compromise that will allow Tent State members to spend nights in a parking lot at the Denver Colesium and use Cuernavaca Park until its 11 p.m. closing during the Democratic National Convention.
Organizers say they are happy with the plan, announced at a news conference today. The park is in sight of the Pepsi Center, but organizers say they would like to be closer.
The group initially wanted to camp at City Park, then walk 3 miles to the public demonstration zone outside the Pepsi Center.
