Jonas Brothers, “A Little Bit Longer” (Hollywood) Sure, these are the guys who were opening for Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana just last year. But now these brotherswhose music is often compared to the guitar-rooted power-pop of Hanson — are headlining the arenas and amphitheaters on their own popularity. This record, their third, is getting surprisingly good marks.

New Kids on the Block, “Greatest Hits” (Sony) You knew it would happen. The reunion tour that has a surprising number of 20-something ladies giddy is advanced by this collection of NKOTB’s biggest hits, including “Hangin’ Tough,” “Step By Step” and “You Got It (The Right Stuff).”

David Sanborn, “Here and Gone” (Decca) Like him or not, this is a landmark album for Sanborn. “Here and Gone” is his 23rd solo record, and it brings the artist together with producer Phil Ramone and collaborators Eric Clapton, Joss Stone, Sam Moore, Derek Trucks and many other respected musicians.
