Lewis Black has cornered the market on quivering indignation, so it’s nice to see him assume an elder-statesman role with shows such as the debate-focused “The Root of All Evil” on Comedy Central. Thursday at the Pikes Peak Center, Aug. 22 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. $45-$65.
