The whole race takes only about 10 minutes, and participants may run or walk the course through historic downtown Arvada. Although the race distance is small, its goals are big: Proceeds from the second annual Endurance Challenge benefit Ralston House, a safe, family-friendly site where law enforcement officers can interview kids who’ve been abused. The race begins at 10 a.m. Saturday; arrive earlier for registration. The starting line is at the McIlvoy House, 7307 Grandview Ave. Registration is $20 for kids 12 and younger and $25 for adults. Teams of four can register for $70, 10-person teams are $160. Call 720-898-6745 for more information.
